Aria Villa is a great combination of service, luxury, accessibility and intimacy.
To relax after visits of temples and temples all day long, we were first looking for relaxing resort. There is a wide variety of ranges and prices and finding a luxury resort, not too old for a reasonnable price (less than 200 € per night) is not that easy.
As we wanted to be able to reach quickly the city center to go to the market, watch a dancing show, have diner in the city and find a local driver easily (less expensive than hotel drivers), it became even more difficult to find a resort that matched all of our criterias.
We finally found Aria Villas !
Aria Villas is not a resort but this is a peace of heaven very close to the city. For 190 € per night, we had our private villa, only 5 minutes walking distance to the city center. Of course you are not lost in the middle of the jungle but once you are in the property, your private infinity pool comes with a view on a lush vegetation in a quiet atmosphere. This hotel is also easily reachable after a day of sightseeings as it is very centrally located, 500 meters from Ubud main street. Then, if you want to have diner in a luxury resort lost in the jungle, it is very easy to find a local driver who will take you there and wait for you. For our part, we had diner at the Samaya, such a romantic restaurant with view on the river and the wood. Samaya was only 10/15 minutes drive to our villa.

The other positive argument is that you will feel completly relaxed in the Aria Villa. No need to find an empty sunbed around the swimmingpool, the pool is yours ! How nice is it to wake up in front of a tropical garden in your pyjamas and have breakfast around your own swimmingpool ? No rush at the buffet anymore :)
The staff and especially the director are really charming and welcoming. French orange juice and 10 minutes shoulder massage will be provided at your arrival. Feel Welcome !

You can choose between a terrace pool villa with views on the other pools of the property or a valley pool villa with a direct view on the lust vegetation. I recommand to choose the valley pool so you get even more intimacy and privacy.

Decoration is sophistaced and minimalist. Materials are high end quality, which gives you a feeling of luxury. Young and modern travelers will appreciate the pure design and comptemporary elements of the accomodation.
Modern furnitures and delicate touches such as white orchids each side of the bed match perfectly the design atmosphere.
An outdoor bathtub and shower will enhance the feeling of being alone in the world.
Breakfast :
When you wake up, breakfast that you ordered the day before at the time of your convienience will be delivered. Items are different every day. You will have the freedom to choose between local and international meals. Different cereals and smoothies are also offered. Then it's time to enjoy your breakfast around the swimming pool.
During the afternoon, the staff will bring you complimentary treatments such as tropical fruits or refreshing icecream. Quite a nice way to relax after a busy touristic day :)
