History and Belle Epoque
I like when new hotels know how to keep and highlight the history of the building and Cures Marines is a very good exemple. The hotel has been designed by the talented architecte Jean-Philippe Nuel, who also orchestrated the rebirth of the only resort in Paris, the Hotel Molitor by MGallery.
The Hotel is established in the Casino of Trouville, which used to be in 1912 the hugest and most prosperous casino of France. At this time, a part of the building was dedicated to the《Bains chauds》(hot baths), which were the ancestors of the Thalassa. All influent people from Paris used to come here for a relaxing time. The building became then the museum of the city and the Cures Marines finally took place at the end of the 50's. Unfortunatly, the Cures Marines had to close end of 90's as there were too much work to be in compliance with the news norms.

The Cures Marines openened in April 2015 according to the tradition of the palaces of the beginning of the past century. The concept is to combine modernity to the tradition of the prestigious Belle Epoque.
First step into the lobby, you will see at your right a beautiful bar bathing in the light. Confortable and very elegant seating areas for two will welcome you while you are waiting.
A bit further stands the front desk with a cozy seating area.
Elegant Guestrooms
The hotel features 103 rooms and 7 suites, very bright and elegant. The atmosphere is soft with some blue touches. The walls of the guestrooms are magnified by old pictures with the silhouette of an elegant woman from the Belle Epoque.
Shophisticated material such as cushions in silk and leather headboard will invite you to a cocooning moment.
The floor of the bathroom reminds the time of thermal baths.

Taking place in the gastronomic restaurant, the breakfast is not a traditional one. Do not look after a buffet, breakfast is served in a much more elegant way ! Different menus are offered such as continental, american, more organic with cereals, etc... and breakfast comes to your table with lots of different items. You can also choose the egg in your favorite style. Quantity is really enough with less waste !

To my mind, the Belle Epoque is the most elegant epoque ever. The Cures Marines is a successful marriage between modernity, tradition, history, elegance and sophistication. For the parisians and the others, change your habits, move from Deauville to Trouville !
