Restaurant La Vitrola in Old Havana, Cuba

On Plaza Vieja in Old Havana stands a very welcoming restaurant : La Vitrola.
This is not a restaurant for gastronomic diner but a lively place to start the day with a huge breakfast or end it with some delightful mojitos and tapas. This place takes you in the past with decoration items from the 20's to the 50's : jukebox, old gas station, old radio station, etc... this restaurant is a museum of iconic objects of the past century !

La Vitrola is located at the corner of Plaza Vieja with beautiful vintage bicycles on one side and a terrace on the other side.

Have a look to the numerus old decoration objects and pictures, every square meter has been optimized to deep you in a past universe.

In terms of food, meals are pretty generous and quite good. The staff is really welcoming, cheerful and makes sure you enjoy the moment. A waiter noticed we came from France and even wrote France with chocolate pouder on my cappucino, the gesture was funny and adorable ! A music band plays music in the evening but also in the morning, adapting the rythm to the time of the day of course. Music is everywhere in Havana and is part of the trip.
