Sri Lanka is full of beautiful waterfalls. Some of them are kind of a Grail, very difficult to reach but even more amazing, some others are more accessible and very easy to combine with another sightseeing. Reaching Lover's Leap Fall requires 30 to 45 minutes but the begining of the walk is literraly one minute by foot from Pedro Estate Factory in Nuwara Eliya. Exit Pedro Estate Factory, turn left, cross the road, climb to Lover's Leap Fall, and there you are !
The walk to Lover's Leap is very pleasant. You will meet various animals, cows and sheeps among habitations, while admiring amazing views on tea plantations, Pedro Estate Factory and its lake.
The walk is not too hard and accessible to non sporty people, even though you have to be a little patient before first observing the falls behind trees.
Once you have passed the trees to reach out the fall, just climb a rock to admire it very closely and take few shots :)
