Süleymaniye Mosque

Less known than the Blue Mosque, Süleymaniye Mosque, 2km away, really worths it. Blue Mosque started an important renovation program in 2017 and is still going on. 80% of the ceiling is covered with scaffholders, the visit is quite disapointing. A great alternative is the Süleymaniye Mosque, which indoor architecture is quite similar, ceilings are sumptuous. Süleymaniye Mosque is in the same district of the Grand Bazaar, sourrounded by nice bar and cafés on the top of the hill, which offer you from their rooftop amazing views on Istanbul and Bosphorus river.
