Greenery in the City at Tivoli Mofarrej, Sao Paulo, Brasil

Sao Paulo is a very busy city and it is not that easy to find a relaxing hotel with a nice swimmingpool area.

One of the best hotel in the city is definitly the Tivolo Mofarrej along with Hotel Unique and Fasano.

This is not surprising to meet some international stars there. The first time I was there, the hotel was sourrounded by teenagers waiting for Jonas brothers :)

Location :

Ideally located in the Jardim area, which means gardens in portuguese, the hotel Tivoli is close to the famous shopping avenue Oscar Freire and the Avenida Paulista, the heart of the business district.

Atmosphere :
The feeling of luxury starts as soon as your cab arrives in front of the hotel. The tower is sourrounded by plants and small fountains and you will be immediatly welcomed by one or two valets.

The lobby is under a glass rooftop recovered by a luxurious vegetation.

Beautiful flowers or piece of art will catch your look at your arrival.

The lobby is a mix of comtemporary elements with wood and wicker furnitures. It looks like more a tropical retreat than a dowtown hotel.

Guestrooms :

The decoration of the rooms is, I would say, quite sober and corporate : large room size and beige touches. The room I had was a superior room with a conforatable seating area.

If you are located on the higher floors, you will enjoy an amazing view on the park, the buildings and the road with its traffic lights at night.

Swimmingpool :
My favorite area is the swimming pool. To get there, you will have to cross the lobby and a beautiful bar made with red bricks. Be careful to be dressed up and not to wear your bathrobe :)

The pool area is a nice place to relax, have a drink or a casual lunch. However, do not be in a rush, the staff is kind but it always takes a little time to get your order. They sometimes seem to be a bit lost :(

The pool is very original as it is an orange one. Be reliefed, water is completly transparent, but the floor is recovered by orange tiles. Bathing in the pool will be more refreshing than sporty as the deepth is around 1 meter or something. Not a problem for me but do not excercise for olympic games ;)
